Account Deletion Policy

Violet Ring respects your right to delete your account and associated personal data. This page explains how to delete your account in each of our apps, what data is removed, and what may be retained.

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone once completed.

General information (all apps)

How deletion works

All Violet Ring apps support in-app account deletion. You do not need to email us unless you cannot access the app.

Deletion is processed promptly after you confirm in the app. There is no 7-day waiting period and no separate email confirmation link.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@violetring.com from the address linked to your account. Subject line: Account deletion request — [App name]. We will verify your identity and complete deletion within 30 days.

What is generally deleted

• Account profile (email, display name, photo)

• App content and preferences stored on our servers

• Authentication account (Google / Apple / email sign-in)

What may be retained

• Encrypted backups: Residual copies in backup systems, typically purged within 30 days

• Subscription records: Purchase and transaction records may be kept up to 12 months for tax and legal compliance (processed by Apple or Google; we do not store full payment card numbers)

• Anonymous analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data used to improve our apps

• Abuse reports (Surprise Yourself): Records related to safety reports may be retained as needed to enforce our terms

Third-party services

Some data is processed by third parties (Firebase, Apple, Google, cloud providers). We delete data from our systems; third-party retention is governed by their policies.

Aluna — Meditation

Delete in the app (recommended)

1. Open Aluna — Meditation and sign in.

2. Go to Profile.

3. Tap Delete account.

4. Confirm when prompted (you will be asked twice).

5. Your account and data are permanently deleted. You are signed out automatically.

What is deleted

• Account profile and preferences

• Meditation preferences and conversation history used for personalization

• Generated meditation content associated with your account

Note: Active App Store or Google Play subscriptions are not cancelled automatically. Cancel subscriptions in your device settings before or after deleting your account.

Timing: Deletion is immediate upon final confirmation.

Aluna Bedtime Stories

Delete in the app (recommended)

1. Open Aluna Bedtime Stories and sign in.

2. Go to Profile.

3. Tap Delete account.

4. Confirm when prompted (you will be asked twice).

5. Your account and data are permanently deleted. You are signed out automatically.

What is deleted

• Account profile and story preferences

• Generated stories, images, and audio associated with your account

• Story history and saved preferences

Note: Active subscriptions are not cancelled automatically. Cancel in App Store or Google Play settings.

Timing: Deletion is immediate upon final confirmation.

Surprise Yourself

Delete in the app (recommended)

1. Open Surprise Yourself and sign in.

2. Go to Profile (bottom navigation).

3. Tap Delete account.

4. Read the warning, type DELETE, and confirm.

5. Your account and data are permanently deleted. You are signed out automatically.

What is deleted

• Profile, nickname, and profile photo

• All accomplishment posts, comments, and votes

• Direct messages and game memberships

• Games you created and their content

• Push notification tokens

• Your Firebase sign-in account

Timing: Deletion is immediate upon confirmation.
